First Image of The Earth - by the crew of Apollo 8

Year 1968, wouldn't have been so memorable and fantastic year for the space crew, if this wouldn't have happened. You might be wondering what it could be or you might smile as you know the answer. In case if you did not still get it, its now time to know the wonders of our universe or gods creation our planet Earth. It would have been the most prestigious moment for the crew members of Apollo 8, travelling in the space into the pitch dark sky with stars around, who would have imagined that our earth would be so beautiful, lucky are those who viewed this spectacular scenery for the first time ever.

Our ever beautiful earth, was been captured probably by Bill Anders (Crew member of Apollo 8). This images was taken from a distance of about 30,000 km from earths surface. If you observe the image carefully you can see that it was taken upside down. The South America was on top center and North America is at the bottom right.

Imagination could be so beautiful and reality could actually surprise us. Its Our Universe, its Our Planet, its Our Earth so lets all keep it most beautiful and spectacular for the coming generations. So lets together keep it green and clean !
